Beaster...Again

So my picture is of jim and I at beaster last year...Its a funny thing that it is coming up again this saturday. Saturday is going to be a day of friends, I am supposed to meet up with some other close friends also, that I have not seen in a long while. Crossing my fingers that all goes well, and we actually make it to easter celebrations by 1 o'clock on Sunday!

Also, my kitchen is getting done! I am so excited! Here it is, in full working form! Still waiting for many things to get added! (Handles, caulk, lighting etc.)

Ouch!

So I sprained my ankle last night. Like an idiot, I went jogging at night time and tripped over some uneven pavement...And then even more stupidly I finished my jog (at a very very slow pace). But, now I cannot even put pressure on that ankle! Other than that, everything is going really great. I cannot wait to let Wonton out of the bedroom, he's driving me a bit crazy.
He keeps trying to escape, but I can't let him because I am afraid he will step on a nail or a tackboard and hurt his little paw.

I made a vow to myself to never step into a walmart again. I hate everything that walmart is about. I cannot stand the people, the smell, the clutter, or the awful items made overseas, or that they are available in bulk. I am done. Even the walmart in Princeton is terrible. It just feels unhealthy walking inside that building. And if you are doing all your grocery shopping at walmart, there is probably something terribly wrong with your diet.

Jenna and Mike stopped by last night and watched me make turkey chili...Then they went to meet my parents at the Rib Rack. Lol. I tried to teach mike how to juggle, and we all laughed about Mike's dad who is trying to marry a 29 year old girl who barely speaks english. Poor girl. Mike's dad is an interesting character though; we are going to their house wednesday for a bbq too.

After this weekend our house will be all buttoned up! I cannot wait. I cannot wait to finish decorating, and not having to wake up to hammers and construction every Saturday and Sunday.

We Finally Moved!!!

We are finally living in our new home! :) And two more weeks left until the kitchen is all done... And I am waiting anxiously. It has been a crazy couple weeks. The day we moved in, Wonton got so scared he peed all over himself while he was in the cat carrier. I did not realize and let him out into the laundry room! Of course he ran all over with pee all over himself, which did not make jimmy happy, and made me cry. It was terrible. But we got him all settled in, and are trying to settle in ourselves! Our neighbors are really great, we've already been hanging out with them a bit. And they are all so willing and really helpful. I am still having problem with comcast lol, and am so bitter that we are actually using their services. Its kind of the only option we have though! So right now, we have the bathrooms done, our bedroom, the basement finished, and mostly everything painted! The kitchen, carpet in the hallway and spare bedroom, and the living room still needs wrapped up. I cannot wait to be done. All this thrown in with my best friends wedding this summer, vacation, and trying to finish school, makes for a very crazy renee! I joined the biggest loser competion at my work though, and have been going to the gym every morning this week! I am feeling good, and tracking my results. Now I have to buy a scale on my lunch break, and also have to get really good at using the microwave over the next two weeks!

I am so grateful...

I am so grateful for the people who have come into my life over the past two years. Thank you God for providing me with everything I need, even when I have nothing (monetarily) to give back to others. Thank you for my family and friends. Thank you for loving me endlessly.

I made settlement on my house on friday! Everything is coming along so nicely. I am trying to be patient, but I cannot wait for the finished product... :-) And I'm sure wonton cannot wait to get out of his bedroom!

I started reading Good.is, and I am wondering why, on a website that is technically for "good" people, really mean people always make comments. There is always so much hate in this world, that I wish there was an online space that was a forum space for people with wonderful people...

I think I have a Morning angel...

I think my lot attendant Ainsley may be my morning angel. He always gives me the best advice. And he is such a gentle soul. He makes me think I want to make my life better. I think he is such a special person, he is from Jamaica, and his family is so lucky to have him. Im happy that he is my work friend. I think he may tell people God's word more than they realize.
